I've watched the whole thing on You Tube.
I still cannot hear any comment from the Directors that the regular Share Rights Issues were for any other purpose than to provide cash to plug the deficit in the accounts, now revealed officially as £8 million pa.
Please tell me about the part I missed.
The part you missed - is my previous post that described ‘fans experience eg the price of a pint, clogging up the 2 hours of the Forum to the extent that important topics such as the shares issue and the relationship with the Council were not discussed.
As said - I’d have like to hear Neerav’s take on important developments like that.
Yep - good point by Jules.
From the Forum there doesn’t seem to be any chance of a ‘priming the pump’ exercise.
Since the Forum I’ve given this some thought in relation to what they had to say.
My conclusion is that they believe the level of funding is sufficient once they have had several transfer windows to get things right.
It was plain to see Sormaz found this summer’s window to be extremely difficult.
Although Neerav disagreed with a dip in the window during the Forum - I can’t see him allowing the situation to go on for too long before he acts.
There’s too much money at stake.
This summer’s transfer window was the worst we have seen for some years.
It’s obvious with what Sormaz said the club knows it struggled.
We are now paying the price of that on the field.
