We are more interested in spending thousands on projects like the Nest and Padel Courts.. We got all of that money for the sale of Macca, Nemane and the compo for Williams. How much of that has been spent on new players ? Jatta came from a club owned by the bros, so no actual money changed hands.

The Nottingham Padel Centre and The Nest have both been extremely shrewd and successful investments in financial stability through the increase in ongoing overall year-round revenues of the club.

We now have a top-notch pitch capable of hosting football literally right up to international level, potentially adding further revenue through stadium use, not to mention expanded hospitality capacity, further raising revenue.

I would imagine the likes of Bass, Crowley, Jones et al do not come cheaply in terms of their overall contract costs (players do not just cost money in terms of transfer fees).

The brothers do not own Viborg FF, although they do have a minority stake in it through an investment consortium, so the likelihood that 'no actual money changed hands' is extremely remote in my opinion.

I think it is also important to remember the debt burden that the brothers are financing every season, a real millstone, which makes it even more important to run the club prudently and increase off-field revenues as much as possible.

All of this is achieved while still remaining competitive on the pitch and pushing for the promotion places. Of course we don't have the highest budget on the pitch but we are certainly extremely well-run overall, which should make us all feel comfortable with the steady progress and the lack of catastrophic financial news coming out of Meadow Lane over the years since the Reedtz rescue.

Just my views of course. I guess I'm just a nodding dog though.
