On what I witnessed today at the NYS, the club are in a relegation battle.
ELK, I think it's more of a survival battle now............

Where the chairman is makes no difference on the decision on Evan?s, he will be watching the games and will be fully briefed on what is going on. He isn?t stupid and he will know that the limited business he has approved to be done in January will not be enough, Evan?s also knows that the club are not going to give him the backing he wants, for me it is who blinks first. Will Evan?s force the clubs hand by opening his mouth or will the club put us all out of our misery.
You have to ask the question does the town deserve a club, people of the town and the fans can?t be bothered so why should the chairman. He should cut his loses sell up get the best money he can and see if someone else can get people back or new ones interested.
As for the team, it is clear a lot of those players are not playing for SE and PR and want away, I think someone else would get more out of those players, perhaps a young coach like what Bristol Rovers have gone for, someone that sees the club as a stepping stone and is happy to accept an authoritarian leadership and limited facilities. We have a recruitment team, surely they know who we could get and how to bring in younger loan players that are used to seeing the ball on the ground.
At the moment all I see is a team that is going down with a delusional manager, lazy players, disinterested chairman and fans.

We're a shambles especially midfield Kelly should be retired. Up front not much better.
So many fans are questioning why we brought in JCH to the club .He offers nothing because he is too slow to operate up front and cause any problems for the opposition. For him to be effective he needs to be in the six yard box and have continuous crosses coming in.Seeing as we don't play with two wingers or a very creative midfield dynamo sending a dangerous cross in,JCH is a waste of a place in the team.To make him captain is crazy. It's not just JCH the majority of signings are past their sell by date.We have no leaders in this squad to drive and motivate the team.
What a Christmas of football so far. I've watched 180+ minutes of utter garbage by disillusioned players and a manager who is a tactical wilderness!
Four centre forwards - again - no width - again! Why can't SE see that JCH is only effective if we get supply into the box. Why do we have to wait until we're desperate before we introduce Hungbo who is the only player who looks like a winger, only to play him on the wrong side? No sign of Jack Holmes who, although raw, can run at defences and beat players. Beggars belief!
The only one of our front four with any mobility and effort is the first one to be taken off!!??
Finally, Hughill should never wear a Millers' shirt again following his hand jesture to the North Stand after he was rightly criticised for standing flat-footed in the area when a decent cross was there for him to attack. Totally unacceptable!
There has already been one allegation made against one of our players for making a hand gesture whilst on the field of play.
Who was the intended recipient of said alleged hand gesture? Has the matter been reported to the club?
Another allegation has been made against our goalkeeper yesterday for 'arguing' with a section of the crowd. Has the matter been reported to the club?
Where is the supporting evidence for the above allegations? Did more than one person witness the alleged incidents?
Please don't mention the word 'snowflake' if responding to my post.
I know of one incident in football history where a player at a big club made a comment to a fan.
Player was on the pitch and had been taking some stick from supporters. Player snapped and swore at supporters. Player was sacked by the club.
Things aren't looking too good on and off the field of play.
Tempers are getting frayed. Some of our players are still battling to win games.
So, who is going to take a firm grip at the club and resolve the issues on and off the pitch to make our experience more enjoyable and less grimmer than it already is? Or is that a rhetorical question?
Up The Millers!!!

A very strange post SS - you sound like Hughill's defence lawyer!
In response to your questions;
- someone/group of individuals in the North stand
- what level of supporting evidence are you seeking? It's probably a bit late for DNA and I can't be bothered to trawl through the recording of that dross to see if it was captured on camera. How about 'I saw it with my own eyes Guv' or are you suggesting that I'm fabricating evidence?
- A Millers' fan commented on the incident on PorG. There's also multiple comments about it on the FB page.
That, m'lord, is the case for the prosecution!
