He’s a very dangerous and irresponsible, but clearly intelligent, individual, Sith, who now has a taste for political interference following his recent success with the Trump campaign.

His aim, again imo, is to destabilise any government or individual politicians who don’t share his right wing view of the world and replace them with those who do. Given his astronomical level of wealth and ownership of X I fear we are entering particularly dangerous and concerning times which will indeed most likely see Farage as much more influential within British politics than he might otherwise have been.

It's all starting to sound all conspiratorial but...

The "1%" got a taste for power and have had politicians in their back pockets for a while. WEF is an extension of that "process" with their "15 minute cities" and "you'll own nothing an be happy" BS. Trump said to Christians and Evangelists in the USA, vote for me now and you won't have to in 4 years time which reeks of a dictatorship in the making. Musk? Never had a brainwave in his life. Inherited an emerald mine which made him rich. Tesla was founded by 2 intelligent chaps who came up short on the readies and Musk bought his way into. SpaceX has a similar story. Now he's the richest man on the planet and believes his own BS and wants to rule but will have to wait until Trump passes. "They" are just about ready to launch their own "revolution" which is actually more of an "evolution" as it's a plan slowly coming to fruition rather than "peasants at the gates".

This may all sound a tad melodramatic but I don't think I'm far off course with this. Will they succeed? I sincerely hope not but 95% of mankind is sleepwalking into whatever it's going to be.

Love all of that to be true, MA…but although his dad had some involvement with the emerald business it seems doubtful that Musk Jnr. inherited huge wealth from his parents. I can’t find any evidence that he inherited an emerald mine and he does seem to to have a very capable business brain although not one that appears capable of managing morality.
At the risk of adding to the melodrama, I’m not certain he’ll wait till ‘Trump’s passing’. Maybe hasten it, but questions remain as to whether, being South African born, he’d be eligible to stand as POTUS.

I, as ever, am happy to be corrected. However, he has 3 main businesses, Tesla, SpaceX and X, none of which he founded although he tells everybody he did. Much like Gates wasn't the original genius behind Microsoft...

MA you've been reading too many conspiracy theories with regards to 15 min cities. The concept is a sound one, plan for all amenities, services schools etc. to be within a roughly 15 min journey from home, meaning less reliance on the car which has choked cities and in its internal combustion from killed people.

Sound thinking and a reversal of policy which to date has seen out of town shopping centres and isolated estates which force people to use the car.

Your completely right about Musk, obviously not thick, but he has been financially savvy, not a an innovator, first thing the Uk government needs to do is, tighten the rules on foreign funding of politicians and political parties (whole sale reform required in reality which limits donations.). After that, follow Brazil's example and crack down on X, either Musk removes those and similar posts or its taken off air. Its become a propaganda tool for Musk and others to spread lies and disinformation, it needs to be stopped now.

whatever his aim is, lets be right about the things he's said. The grooming gamg scandal still rumbles on and Jess Phillips wants hanging out to dry, for her comments. She brushes an inquiry off now, yet 1 year ago, was screaming for one. Perhaps her boss, has slapped her down?
Thousands of underage white girls deserve justice. But politics and votes means Labour are following the Tories and sweeping it under the carpet.

But lets just ignore it hey. it undermines the narrative

I do think there should be an enquiry, but it needs to be for the right reasons and not be a tool for political gains or point scoring.

The Tories suddenly calling for one, why weren't they before? And I agree Phillips isn't coming out of this well.

For me though it's a topic that shouldn't involve musk, I 100% believe his interest is purely a political one, to apply pressure on the current government, for his own benefit.

Calling for Phillips to be jailed and for Charles to dissolve parliament are frankly ridiculous.

It is very clear these poor victims have been failed, at multiple points. But anyone calling for an enquiry should be doing it for the right reasons, not personal or political gain.

Seems a pity we can’t judge the UK today by the number of official inquiries that have been deemed necessary over the last 15-20 years or so. Must be the biggest growth industry in the country.
Beyond that, agree with your every word, Sith.

No, rA. That's food banks. Pleased to see the correct use of "inquiry". Far too many people mix in and en up.

Enquire means to ask a question in a general way or in a way that doesn't require an in-depth answer. Inquiry means to ask for information in a formal way, such as in an investigation

My spelling is awful at the best of times. I lay the blame at my teachers who told me I wasn't worth the effort because I found writing and spelling a bit harder than others when I was young.
