    Probably a good idea though if he is otherwise properly fit.
    Absolute maximum of 11 games + 1 set of extra time + 2 sets of the dreaded penalties.

    they can range from just needs specific stretching regimen all the way to athletic career ending. If he's back playing then he'll have good physio attention and should be fine.

    If we sign him on a short term contract what do we have to lose?

    On the face of it he should be an excellent addition for the last 8 games (or more if required) if fit.

    Let's not rule out Slocombe too - he's been decent since called upon
