    He'll struggle to depose 'Shutout Sam' Slocombe at the moment.

    Sam doesn't deserve to be dropped in fairness... pretty faultless since he came back in...very good today...kicking was OK and claimed just about everything... looked like he calmed things down when Newport finally decided to have a go

    When it was revealed that Alex Bass was out for a while I feared the worse, but Sam has done a great job since he came back, especially considering his lack of match sharpness. He deserves to keep his place as things stand.
