Pay them off or punt them for impersonating a footballer.

Think we’re really limited this window due to us being at the max no of loans already this season. That’s why the Alnwick GK thing is more viable than Craig Gordon as he’s about to be out of contract and could be actually signed, be it 6 , 12, 24 whatever months. Think we’ll know for sure what’s happening if we take up the options and start to sign some of the current loanees, KK probably being the most obvious right now. That’s likely what will be the biggest indicator that a loanee is inbound. If Alnwick hasn’t been signed, then the Craig Gordon thing may become more possible………….

A read somewhere else that Alnwick is currently injured and is a wee bit away from returning to training. If that is the case, then surely we would be signing him with a view to him staying as he is likely out for about 1 month?

Signing a goalkeeper that can't play? Sounds like us right enough.

On the goalkeeping front I presume the polish market is being explored, which brought us so much success in the recent past?

Defensively, I know he is injured at the moment but also out of contract; is Sam McClelland worth a punt, always impressed when on loan and I believe he liked being with Dundee United?

Totally agree, the one benefit of signing an injured keeper is he will get to know the majority of his team mates in the treatment room.It is shocking how many injuries we pick up and its normal that after EVERY game we lose at least 1 player through injury. Its not long ago we lost 3 defenders in one game.

What is even more remarkable is The Rangers playing in europe every second Thursday and with a larger squad have almost every player available for their Derby tomorrow.

Yeah, the injuries are pretty consistent, always been a puzzle for me. Maybe just bad luck, yi never know. Not so sure though.

If us fans can see the injuries that are occurring more than normal what are the powers to be doing about it? Something stinks to high heaven imo. Hopefully it gets looked at and the people in that department are released as it is season after season.

If we do have sales in this month I hope Capuano has them structured like he did with the Behich deal, that was very well done and one in which we as football club did well in, imo.
