We're 5 points clear of Spam with a game in hand, 3 points ahead of Florists having played the same number of games. Would that we were further up the league with similar relative positions, but we're not. At this point in the season and in that position our fate is in OUR hands, unlike on many occasions in the past. We have play ed some sensational football of late, against the best the PL can supply as opposition. We haven't broken away as we would have liked because some of those around us have been finding their stride. So what?

We play like we have done, do what we have done and get the results we have achieved against most of the teams in the current top 10. Why can't we do that?

Because this is Leeds and this is what Leeds do, lull us into a false sense of security and then pull the rug from under us, snatching defeat from the jaws of victory, sorry to be so pessimistic but today?s results all went against us, all of them, not just one, if forest and palace get results tomorrow it beggars belief as I can?t see us getting more than a draw at Everton Monday night, I feel quite deflated before we?ve even played.

Are the current squad capable of "doing a Leeds"? Yes, and every other squad in every other PL team is capable of a similar f00k up (ask Arne how he feels tonight). The thread title asked the question and befire the Schitty game I'd have said no, not really. Since that half time "chat" and the changes in structure, tactics and performance, I see no reason, if we do what we know we can (I know, if), why we shouldn't survive in the PL.
