I think he will be an assett but please we do need sone youth. Phil Smith is young but only in comparison to Tony Stewart.

If the town is to broaden its outlook it needs more than the 'Hovis' mentality.
Not saying it's Phil Smith but something has started already as the beer was on offer today. Buy 2 pints the second one was half price, a saving of 3.30.It's a start I suppose.

I can better that pal.......they ran out of 'hot water' in one of the serving bars behind the North Stand! I thought Paul Douglas said this issue had now been fixed? Well not in the stadium it hasn't

Worse than all that, they ran out of ideas on the pitch, or maybe they never had any to start with?

If he's got any influence on the football side of the club he'd have to be blind not to see Hamshaw & Scott have wasted what budget we had. Only Baptist & Gore who Evans signed add anything to the squad. We aren't good enough like some are suggesting to play Nombe into the channels. Needed that big forward to give us another option. My only hope is Whatmore who could play wide in front 3.

    Give it a rest man.

Anyway. We missed Gore on Saturday.

Tactically setup wrong which was evidenced after they went down to 10 men and still found more way space than we did.

Several mistakes for their goals but that's just how the game was overall for us.

No real commitment from the players.

Cardiff had a man through and 4 miller's around him and not one went in for the tackle.

Players very clearly not knowing when their positions were meant to be played by them or covered by others.

Gray was the only man on the pitch. He's 17.

Was interesting reading the Leeds scouts notes during the game. He notes his improved ball carrying and commitment in pressing.

Can't rest watching that shambles! Signing kids & dodgy centre backs aren't what we needed. What about our younger players Douglas, Duncan & Hatton nowhere now to be seen? We haven't got a midfield without Gore. Spence losing ball in there more than once resulting in goals for the opposition proving to be a liability.

Do catch up. Ben Hatton is out on loan at North Ferriby.

Hamish Douglas is sidelined with Achilles problems.

Harrison Duncan is 17 years of age, hardly played any if any league football. We are in a battle to stave of relegation so, would you risk putting him in our back line at this particular time?

Crazy Hatton another one never got a chance. Apart from Baptist tell me another centre back we've brought in that isn't a risk playing them? Douglas thought he was over his recent injury? just wasn't selected Saturday for the match day squad?

Brin when did Douglas get injured again? He was on the bench vs Exeter? Is this another training injury? I also see the lad from Villa was recruited still recovering from an injury!!
