Yes, we should have won with a two goal lead, their substitutions changed the game. They needed it more than us and it showed. For us it was a glorified friendly, a chance for players to show their worth to MH.
Contray to popular belief,I think young Jack is an RUFC type player. I'd like to see him after a full pre-season.
For any Stags fans looking in, well done with your hate chanting, your families must be so proud.

In many ways, it won’t be so bad when Humphries moves on. He’s not got the physicality for this league or the aerial ability. We need a commanding CB. Also desperately need a commanding midfielder and captain who will organise us. This league demands that sort of player. Holmes isn’t up to league football. I’ve no idea what position he was playing today and neither did he.

Hats off to Wilks. He’s is a quality player. There will be neigh sayers on here but I would do everything to keep him next year. But there is masses to do. Keeper, centre halves and an entire midfield. Good luck MH as I’m sure TS won’t help.

Take a good look at Mansfield’s third goal

A cross from the right, two of our players near to him but neither getting near enough to block the cross

Ball goes to the Mansfield player unmarked in the box who manages to head it on to the scorer. The player heading the ball is about 5 foot eight tall but was under to pressure whatsoever

Any decent centreback would regard that cross as bread and butter and head out easily

Not the first time this season either that we’ve conceded similar goals

The defence needs lots of work on standard defending

Regardless of who should have been defending the cross getting in & when it did for their 3rd goal Phillips had time to prevent it getting to the goalscorer. We aren't a big enough club to have say just a specific defensive coach will have 2 outfield coaches one who will the assistant manager. Players have to have the ability to start with coaching especially in defending will give them more positional awareness.

Sibley feel he'd show more if he was settled with a permanent move to a club not sure it will be us. Wilkes only other one of our loan signings I'd like to keep. Too many to mention who need moving on from here end of this season but out of contract Phillips Mcdonald Holmes Green Kayode for starters. Raggett Kelly Mcwilliams Hugill JCH not been fit or had the ability enough through the season also look to offload.
