Pick the bones out of this lot.

Amdouni, Churlinov, Costelloe, Dodgson, Delcroix, Ekdal, Hountondji, Obafemi, Mellon, Waller, Oluwaseun, Tresor, Westley, and Agyei. All either already at Gawthorpe or will be back soon to resume training. A few quid there or what is the plan? Do we even have plan?

Whilst I do not know for certain, I think that there will be a plan for each of them, as well as the squad.

Pace ignored wiser counsel and backed Der Kaiser. I doubt that he will make the same mistake again.

I think Parker has a more experienced and wiser head on him. He will have a studied view of senior players at the club - who to keep, who to get rid of - or at least try to get rid off.

Guardiola is on record that he does not want or need a massive squad. And that is with all Man City’ commitments. I can’t see Parker wanting more than 25.

He has also spoken many times about the tightness of the group. I am sure that he will want to keep that as much as possible.
