Charlton deserved their hard fought draw against Birmingham away.

The Add1cks fell behind to a deceptive Christoph Klarer header in the first half. Tyreece Campbell, who came on as a sub in the second half, scored the equaliser.

Of the Charlton chances, Miles Leaburn fired over the bar in the first half. The brilliant Tanto Olaofe saw an effort hooked over the bar.

The Add1cks started the second half well. Campbell and Joe Rankin-Costello coming off the bench were the game changers for Charlton. Once again Olaofe was in on the action with a low ball batted away by the Blues GK Ryan Allsop falling to TC who fired into the bottom corner opening his account for the season.

The home side then responded with a flurry of chances but were held at bay by the defence and Kaminski keeping out anything that came his way out.

Birmingham goal: Klarer 28

Charlton goal: Campbell 66
