  • Nae Dons or Keith renders fitba meaningless, but I switched on the Wifie World Cup by chance just as England were awarded what looked like a clear penalty, about which tartan pants are being pished.

I watched for a further 10 minutes and it didna impress me.

I’ve had a far better time watching the sandpapering bastaard Ockers take a shoeing from India via the ICC World Cup app.

    FUUCK YOU, MURDOCH

My and a work mate noticed on the BBC sport scotland website this morning that there were three stories from Scotland v Cyprus and thirteen about the womens team

Im all for it being in the media as it should be but that was f@cking overkill. Thirteen stories. Is that a record

        • Its like watching 22 stevie mays. Lots of pony tails and running about. Big black bird for France, Renard, centre half. Good in the air. Otherwise, ****ing useless. Probably handle the SPL. Like a very poor mans Van Dyke with a vagina. Surely be a better shout than the likes of Halford for bench warming. Could also help the kit man out with the washing/ironing etc.
Edit: she could also accompany longterm singleton Niall Mcginn to club functions.

          • A few years ago, the Aussie women's team lost 7-0 to some 15 year old boys

Australia’s women’s football team are ranked the fifth best side in world football. So how did they lose 7-0 to a collection of 15-year-old boys?

            • I didnae know that Rachel Corsie was Donald Coleman's great- granddaughter.

              Should I have known that?

It’s a bit much for me too, but I guess because it’s the World Cup, there’s extra hype about it.
Is this the first time Scotland’s women have qualified for the finals?

                  • Without trying to offend anyone woman’s football is poor.

Tried watching the Scotland England game but it’s a poor standard to me.

Did notice that Scott Booth was the co commentator.

I hope Scott didn't injure himself whilst commentating?

Just my opinion which means nothing but compared to men’s football it’s hard to watch.

The bit I saw today the Scotland defender tried to shield the ball out for a goal kick from about 30 yards out.

                            • The biggest problem is that the goalies aren't tall enough.
