I’m from that generation that has no idea about weights & measures. Primary 81 -87 we were taught the metric system but because baby boomers refused to accept it, we’re now in a no mans land. Caught between the two with no idea about either. This is why I’m a terrible cook (apart from my all day veggie breakfast)
Speaking of which, the Yanks are fighting back against the tyranny of the metric system
Regardless, I hope Aberdeen aren’t playing in any diddy games soon under our current coach*

What's that?Originally posted by Aldo1983 View PostWho are you two kidding? You both were in "numbers" class.
It's been a while I grant you since I was in primary school but was born after decimilsation.
I did love Mathematics and its subsets Arithmetic, Algebra, Calculus, Trig etc at school.
Was "numbers class" for those that struggled with calculations and formula's?
If so then no, I was not in your class

I have never been a member of the Labour Party. **** knows far you got that fae.Originally posted by donsdaft View PostSo, you've given up on the Labour party altogether then?
Its manifesto in the last General Election was the only one worthy of my vote though, even in its mildly social democratic tone.

Regarding the Stevie May, he tried to pump her but unfortunately missed the target.Originally posted by Pacman1903 View PostNot picking up in the jest in the post. Rowdy Roddy and Leslie Balfour-Melville were a give away
I however have never supported Scotland in fitba, Monty is a bellend and I have had the misfortune of being surrounded by Scotland rugby fans on numerous occasions who were all drunken knobs
Tennis is full of drugs so dinna watch I
Never watched rowing in my puff
Stopped watching F1 after Senna died so missed Coulthard
Curling, no thanks (did Stevie May actually pump Eve Muirhead?)
Over patriotism or bandwagon jumping. Whatever you want to call it. I don't get it
