No real surprise there.Originally posted by Mason89 View PostJamie McGrath signs a pre contract with Hibs
Well maybe slight surprise with choice of club but no surprise he is leaving as he is not really guilty of spending any significant length of time at one club.
Cheerio min, winna really be much of a miss

Aye, that will be like a life sentence for him as he is normally a two year man then off he goes.Originally posted by Mason89 View Post4 year deal is mental
No wonder he signed it
Heard a rumbling (nae sure if any truth in it tho) that he was asking for 10k a week from the dons to sign a new contract.
Now that (if true) is taking the p1ss and no wonder if he is away.

^^^^^^ Absolutely this ^^^^^^Originally posted by swaddon2 View PostJimmy has been saying that Nisbet and Dabbagh would make a good strike partnership.
Could this be a hint that one or both will be permanently signed?
There's a touch of a poor man's Dalglish / Rush about them. Nisbet is arrogant and idle but he's got the big fat erse , decent with his back to goal and can pick a pass.
They look like a front two to me. Pape can come on for a 20 minute cameo when no Fckr knows what he's likely to do

This with bells on.Originally posted by Br0chred View PostFk him then. Hopefully someone will land extremely heavily on his shoulder on the last day of training. Leaving us for hibs? FFS.
He must be desperate to cement his role as a journeyman. All downhill from here Jamie
Hibs for f*ck sake.

Not a surprise, said it already don’t think the guy has ever renewed a contract in his puff…. but Hibs? Hibs? Weird.
Looked very good for a spell when team was playing well but disappeared when team was off it, never felt he ever grabbed a game by the scruff of its neck.
Edit: just saw 4 year explanation. Quite right by us, guy too injury prone. Doesn’t say much for him backing himself to earn further years. Too much hard work Jamie? Think the guy just enjoys flitting around TBH.
I did like him but no real loss given his performances overall.Last edited by Bojangles9; 25-02-2025, 12:37 PM.

I am surprised as anyone that McGrath has went to Hibs as its a sideways move at best.
As above I thought he was good for us in spells and a bit meh in other periods. I would have been happy enough if he signed a new deal but he is far from being irreplaceable.
I dont believe that he has only signed for Hibs because they offered him a 4 year deal and we didnt though. I suspect they have made him one of their top earners and we werent willing to.
