Completely agree with that last sentence but, as far as Kenzo is concerned, it’s a long time since that run of 10 or 11 games.
Nice guy, good skills, excellent fitness record but it just hasn’t worked out.
I was away for most of last September and the first half of October - as I will be again from next week - and came back to rave reviews about him from people who know their stuff.
Seldom have I felt so disappointed in a player. Yes there have been flashes and he clearly has talent but the word which best fits his performances throughout 2025 is, imo, ‘anonymous’.
We have to get rid of a few off the payroll and unfortunately he looks likely to be one of them. Wish him well and suspect it’ll be destination Netherlands rather than MKD.

Problem being is that, as I said, he's an AM and, since Ozoh got injured last season, he's been played as a 6, out of position, thus. Would Messi or CR7 play well as a DM? I very much doubt it.

Fair point. I guess the manager just didn’t rate him as highly. Only made 29 starts in the whole season and just two in 14 under Eustace.

From game 14 of last season, he got zero minutes in his proper role. I don't think Eustace ever saw him play as the AM.

Currently 30 players feature in the player profiles on the club website. Of those 30, Daj has gone out on loan and O'Donnell, as 3rd keeper , won't get mentioned in the 25 man squad. Add to that Brereton Diaz and that's 29 to go into a 25 man squad. More if we sign anybody else. That means FOUR players to exit, more if we sign anybody.

Who to go? Osborn is mooted. I don't see Rooney getting much game time and he NEEDS a full season to help him get back on track in his development so it would be better all round if he could get a loan somewhere. Ward is said to have suitors and could go. That leaves one more space to be cleared. CBT left out due to being injury prone? Nelson left out as he's suffered a setback in his recovery? Nyambe or Kenzo?

6 more hours to go and then we'll know. German. Italian and French windows shut at the same time as ours. Dutch, Belgian and Spanish are open 4 hours longer.

Good luck to him. Hope he does well. So, 13 out and 13 in. Easier commute for Osborn than moving to Plymouth, imagine we’ll still be paying a part of his wages. Wilson will be teaming up with NML, his music buddy, again and Rooney has a good opportunity to develop and hopefully stay injury free at Barnsley. Good results all round.

So 25 man squad named and as MA predicted, 3rd choice GK not registered and as I predicted Nelson not included. Makes sense, even if nelson is back training by end of October, it will be mid December before he is able to play a match.

See Kane Wilson is set for a very lengthy absence. Sorry for him, deserves better but it seems we may have dodged a bullet there.
