Lullapie is definitely on a roll tonight, best to leave him to it!Originally posted by KCNotts View PostWhat are you on about mate?! You are on a roll haha. So I had no friends at school and I've been sitting in my bedroom for years? But I'm the childish one who can't debate maturely?

The Labour Government under Starmer has a lot of brown nosing to do though.
They can?t p off the British public as well as making an enemy of the most powerful country on earth.
Starmers? arrogance is hard to understand, unless you come from a background of surrounding yourself with yes men (and women for all you Judean Popular Frontists out there). He epitomises the arrogant left wing and their worldview swan song.
Mind you, there?ll always be his apologists.

I'm not anyone's cheerleader and the disparaging comment in response to my post suggesting that anyone can form their own opinion with information available does you no good at all. One of the good ones? My unbigoted outlook on everything life throws make me one of the best ones (and your "it must be true" comment is a little bit silly).Originally posted by KCNotts View PostAhhh here comes Med's cheerleader. I don't know what's happened to you recently Smiffy, i thought you were one of the good ones.
If it's on Google it must be true.
Elite:
Of course you can google anything, how else can people keep informed these days?

Well said Smiffy. Don?t let anyone shout you down because you?re not one of their nodding dogs.Originally posted by SmiffyPie View PostI'm not anyone's cheerleader and the disparaging comment in response to my post suggesting that anyone can form their own opinion with information available does you no good at all. If I was back in the island of love, I'd not be spending my time on these OT boards, too many tavernas, not enough time.Originally posted by Med Pie View PostBest wishes, see what else you can find if you have little else to do.
Bit chilly here tonight though Med so I thought I'd help you out with your grammar and syntax. You're welcome!

Happy to explain. Your first line said "Childish. There?s no point trying to debate with someone as immature as you".Originally posted by Lullapie View PostPlease explain your comment?
Your second line said "You obviously haven?t been outside of your bedroom for many years".
Line 2 was the epitome of a childish and immature comment, therefore irony. Unless you are familiar with how much time he spends in his bedroom, which would make you plain weird!

The comment I was referring to that your comrade friend made was extremely immature. I pointed that out. Now as you are the self proclaimed head of the childish comment politburo, you felt it was your duty to interject. That is your right on a public forum.Originally posted by Elite_Pie View PostHappy to explain. Your first line said "Childish. There?s no point trying to debate with someone as immature as you".

The fact that his comment was also extremely narrow minded, made it look like he had been in an enclosed space for a long time.
Now kindly go back to picking horses out of a newspaper until you see some more childish comments to rule on.

So you pointed out an immature comment but Elite is not allowed to do so?
Double standards there Lulla!

Made it look to who? Just you. If you want to pretend that saying "You obviously haven't been outside of your bedroom for many years" wasn't childish and immature, then keep on digging by all means.Originally posted by Lullapie View PostThe comment I was referring to that your comrade friend made was extremely immature. I haven't purchased a newspaper for 20 years, and haven't picked a horse from one for 30 years! Instead of concentrating on your deluded stereotypes you should try giving facts a go.Originally posted by Lullapie View PostNow kindly go back to picking horses out of a newspaper.

The difference is that Musk is apparently trying to influence UK politics through his vast wealth. Whether his vast wealth supports far right or far left that has to be wrong.Originally posted by Med Pie View PostWhat difference is there between Musk, brandishing his ideology and the left wing propaganda which is peddled to our kids, almost as soon as they enter education?

I don't see much difference, what Musk does or doesn't do, will happen over a parliamentary lifetime which is about the same length of time as a young person spends, exposed to left wing ideologies through sixth form and Uni but they, are getting it daily for hours, not the occasional tweet so it's potentially worse.Originally posted by Elite_Pie View PostThe difference is that Musk is apparently trying to influence UK politics through his vast wealth. Seems we share the same view on politics Lullapie but I think, by historical standards, Elite Pie has been largely absent from these kind of conversations. Mind you, it's hard to shed an image once one has been formed of you on a forum such as this!Originally posted by Lullapie View PostThe comment I was referring to that your comrade friend made was extremely immature.
