It’s simple really. The ones who didn’t want Hamshaw, thought he was the cheap option, still smarting from Evans getting the sack or keep referencing him to Warne we’re always going to judge him instantly.
The reality is it was a shift in recruitment and planning and that’s what needs to be fine but they will continue to beat him with their desired sticks for their own reasons.
I’m not happy with particularly away performances but I’m happy to see the bigger picture and as said wait till we get our injured players back.

Bringing in young, athletic players and rebuilding the side completely is exactly what we needed to do, and all the way through the summer everyone seemed to agree, often loudly wondering where these new young players were when we weren’t signing anyone. Then we started the season, looking exactly like what we are, and suddenly ‘transition’ has become a dirty word, a tired excuse, even before the end of September! Im not sure some people understand what transition means. Neither am I happy to see us fold like we are doing, I don’t think everything is fine, but I do think we need to be the other side of Christmas before we start to wonder if the plan isn’t working.
Young athletic players who get injured easily. It could be too late by Xmas

Think we need to see a settled side playing regularly together which we haven’t seen so far this season.
This is due to the injury situation.
        This has to improve first.

Indeed. There seems to be a weird acceptance of poorness from some on here. I suspect if it did an analysis it would be those clambering for SEs head as soon as he arrived. I think the fact is, MH is failing and they don’t want to accept it so keeping trying to cling on to 20 mins of performance here and there.

Face up to it, it’s over (or nearly so). The first home defeat will start the slide and it’s coming soon

We have almost the identical record to this stage a year ago. In fact we are 1pt and 4 places better off and have won one game more and lost one game more. A year ago, nobody was calling for SE to go but concerns were being expressed around the player selection and coaching strategy and people were willing to give him time. You seemed to be backing him wholeheartedly at the time and winding up other posters in the process. Other than the manager and your angle of attack, little has changed.

Cam,NWC wants Hamshaw to fail for some reason, and he loved Evans,so there's no point in talking sense,he's not interested.

Good grief what's wrong with folks! The constant negativity must be a wind up as it's almost an instant response to anything positive! I can't get my head around why some people think that any supporter would want a manager firing when things are going well. Under SE second time around the play style was horrible, the recruitment was horrible and there was a complete disconnect between the club and the fans. That's how I viewed it anyways. I didn't like how brash SE seemed to be but within reason that wasn't too important if he managed my team to relative success. He had my and pretty much everyone's support from day one but the said terrible 'style' of play didn't bring the success hoped for relative to the spending/ players signed (play off challenge) and the club was so far removed from the identity we've had throughout the NYS era he unfortunately had to go. It's not acceptable to constantly fluff and duck at official etc. and make our club quite an embarrassment imo.

MH comes across as the polar opposite. Being too soft as he's being labelled by some isn't what a manager needs to be but I see no evidence of this. He doesn't throw his players directly under the bus when he's frustrated in interviews that things haven't gone as hoped but surely that's good management. I've been an NHS manager for most of my career and any problems be it business or staff would always be dealt with behind a closed door but I assure you I 100% back my staff in the public arena.

MH has been hamstrung by having key players unavailable not just routine injuries. Playing players at CB that aren't tall enough lead to conceding goals in the 6 yard box in 3 separate matches and our goalscorers being out for the most part has been catastrophic. Not an excuse, why would there need to be an excuse. No team lacking big men at the back and little quality up front would be fairing any better than us at this time. We've lost by the odd goal in most games we've lost and for sure with the said CB's and strikers back in the side the whole thing will look different. Gosh if we finished mid table last season with the shocking style we saw week in week out there's no way with a full squad we won't eclipse that finish. We aren't going to be Real Madrid for sure but we've seen in patches that we can be a decent side. We need Nombe Etete and Sheriff fit and we'll be finishing off plenty of the half chances Hugill and JJ etc. have not converted. We'll have the momentum then so the heads won't drop when we concede because as a team they'll know they can come back. I honestly think with everyone being available for the most part we'll be challenging the top ten. This league is poor and we've only been as poor because of the above imo. Seems 101 to me.

This is 3rd pants season in a row. You can see at home games crowds are down accordingly. Won't change this season round with these players or manager. So we sit there & accept it! Wait till cold weather arrives see how many turns up then. Nothing worse than sitting in the cold when footballs that clueless it doesn't take your mind off the falling temperatures.

No he doesn't. He wants to go against the grain to rub people up.

I pointed this out to ru66 when his English suddenly becomes better when he gets upset in an argument..
                    Obv he's not a multi 🤭😉

Is the downturn in gates possibly because of more games on Sky/red button

Caton - if you think I?m a multi, can you let me know who? I?ve had this with the other numpty Cam who threw some nonsense about we website analytic into the conversation - he of course never explained that either.

Back to the point. I don?t want any manager to fail but it?s clear to me that MH is out of his depth. He?s like a rabbit in the headlights with the press and clearly has the motivational powers of some of the others we have recently endured. I have no particular reason to dislike him but as others say, the crowds are dwindling and the atmosphere is dead. A change is required and required now. If he lasts until Christmas then we will be rock bottom.

As I said up the thread. The next 4 matches will see him off. TS will be in the phone to Stevenage and then we will have the annual video of TS sat in his home office spouting crap about the promised land.
