I could see where the discussion was about to take us and as it had been covered before (the 'is it racism to generalize that all Muslims are x?') and we are unlikely to change stance I instead asked what for me is a more interesting question about how your Muslim friend reacts when you tell her that you think that all Muslims have little regard for human life. That's all I was thinking. I wasn't shutting anything down, just pursuing something more new and interesting. What do you want to do? Shall we go over that 'is it racist to call all Muslims x?' argument? Is that what you want? Quite happy to do that but we could just read over old posts?
