Just checked the BT tv contract details, it runs out next year so a new deal will have to be struck during the course of next season (probably spring). They definitely will not want to lose Notts, they will be in a much weaker position to re-negotiate without a big hitter. That's not being big headed, we ARE the Real Madrid at this level, as Luton were, as Bristol Rovers and Tranmere were.
With Chesterfield and Wrexham struggling, without Notts the NL is just not going to hold the same attraction. Not that it's a great attraction now, but it will be even less so if we go up.
