Regarding the 'troubles', yes I've seen that too, and such behaviour by 'the law' will just inflame feelings further. The more general point about the softer approach to policing BLM troubles also applies, all such inequities are adding fuel to the TTR fire

Law of probability says he was most likely Catholic, Rwanda's nearly 100% Christian although I don't know the mix. I'm sure you realise that yobbos don't need much of an excuse to shape-shift their ire from African Christian to Asian Muslim if that's their preferred target. Mobs of young Asians shouting Allah U Aqbah isn't helping cool things of course

I believe there's been some emergency legislation put in place to ban face coverings

Not sure if you saw UK news last eve, but one of the flashpoints was around a 'migrant hotel' where a load of well-meaning but out of their depth old folk were holding an 'Immigrants Welcome' banner. Well of course it all kicked off, but a vid clip later in the day shows one of the oldies sitting on a bench right in the middle of the kerfuffle clutching a plastic bag and looking like he was a cricket fan waiting for the teams to come out on a dull day, as bottles, bricks and insults flew around him. Good for him and his persistence
Quirks of nature happen. Sometimes a person has just the 1, sometimes a person can have several. One such person was Michael Phelps who has a ridiculously wide "wing span" which will aid swimming quickly, double jointed elbows and ankles which also aided him plus lungs with double the average capacity. There was no call to ban him despite him having a physical advantage over more "normal" humans. Quite rightly so, too, IMO.

One's physical make up will always help. Usain Bolt or Linford Christie wouldn't have had a chance of winning a Marathon.
