I agree. My nieces and husband are good examples, in their 9 or 10 years living together i dread to think how many sofas they have had. In the same period we had one.

I thought the younger generation were the ones who were going to lead the way and teach us older ones how to be greener. No evidence of that with them, the kids get obscene amounts for Xmas and loads of old toys etc just get skipped to make way , they wouldn't dream of taking them to charity.

The only good thing I think these days are Tvs, white goods etc tend to last longer than they used to.
