Apparently the UK are heading towards having Farage appointed as PM. I think important to touch upon reality as opposed to staged photo opportunities of him having a pint and a fag.
What is wrong with having a pint and a fag? Although I don't smoke anymore. Do you not do it? Do normal people do it? Doesn't everyone do it?
The Britsh public will have a chance to decide in 4 years whether he is PM. A lot could happen in that time. He may not live that long.

What did you think were the highlights of Farage's performance during the debate in Parliament yesterday, Bill? What were the salient points that he made?

In fairness, Nice is lovely at this time of year.

I consider myself pretty normal, but I can't recall ever inviting the press to the pub when I go for a drink. I can't recall any if my friends or family doing it either, but maybe you have a different definition of normal to me.

It?s a strategy that hasn?t worked out too well for them.

A few years ago, the taxpayers of Bedfordshire were asked if they would like to pay a few quid extra for additional policing and said no. It?s possible, I suppose that they were all very happy with the policing of the county, but I suspect that they were not but thought someone else should pay:

Whether it?s ?low tax ? quality services? or ?Brexit is the answer to everything? it?s clear that the only thing that the British electorate can be relied upon for is their willingness to accept obvious lies

The current lie is that ?curbing immigration is the answer to everything' (sold to you by the same people who sold you the huge success that is Brexit).
The same people who sold Brexit seems to have struck a chord with the current PM who showed the country his inner Enoch only last week , " a country full of strangers " no less .

I suspect the UK electorate now vote with a party they most identify with rather than listen to the infinity of lies they receive from the major party's .

It just turns out Reform haven't any previous as yet so they can't actually lie .

Mind you they'd do well to keep up with the current PM in a game of lies contest .

From his Labour leadership campaign right through to number 10 the man has hardly spoken a true word .

Your old mucker at the CPS is just as slippery and untrustworthy as the honourable member for Clacton , it's just that you don't identify with Farage .

I agree about the language last week. Very clumsy, but I think that's proved to be the norm for his government. The Tories could get away with it given the state of the bulk of the print media in this country, but Labour can't. The

How you can say that Reform has no previous is beyond me. They are the people who sold you the dream of Brexit. Away from the mania of people like Bill, I think the penny has dropped for many people that they were sold a turd. It looks like a new party name is enough for people not to notice. I guess that's how dodgy double glazing (etc.) salesmen get away with just starting a new company to continue to fleece people.

I'd also like to be surprised that people can identify with a millionaire former merchant banker who is backed by billionaire hedge fund managers, but it seems that an image consultant and a photo shoot with a pint and a fag is enough.

With his backers, it's almost as though Farage is dreaming of a deregulated economy where he and his backers can make money by exploiting people with little regard for the damage they cause along the way.

In addition to the poor communications from Labour, Starmer has been caught out by the unrealistic promises that he made during the campaign. I pointed that out prior to the election, but, as touched upon previously, honesty isn't a great strategy in UK politics. I suppose that we get the country we deserve.

Are you the same Frog who posted endless links to the latest shyte that you had fallen for on Twitter?

We certainly don't need any pesky facts getting in the way of the drivel.
