For me, all of these recent home loses just highlight how much we?ve missed Dan Crowley. I?m glad the owners reportedly made a lot of money on the sale to MK Dons, but it may well cost us promotion in such a weak year.
Dan Crowley's comments before and since his departure leave no doubt that that he wanted to leave and considered his game for us against MK Dons to be an audition. In those circumstances the club has to take the money while it's there (which ironically is what Crowley did!). You're right that any League two team would miss a player of his quality, but his commitment to us was clearly wafer thin. He saw us simply as a platform to get to somewhere else.
