Hinshelwood's record against the top 7 this season wasn't bad, W6 D4 L2 but we're talking about a division in which only three clubs had an average attendance that broke through the 4,000 barrier, York being the 3rd best supported behind the two teams who have reached the play off final.

He did finish strongly (other than losing out to Oldham) and 96 pts is some sort of achievement. Better on paper than Maynard but again that's not saying much. Would think most would be prepared to give him more time than Maynard before making their minds up though, if he is the man chosen.
